storing presets

If I alter a preset and then hit the store button three times the store light goes out as it should. The next time I recall that particular preset or if I power off with that preset Chosen and then power back on the store light is back on. This is consistent with every preset that I alter the next time I pull up that preset the store light is on it doesn't appear to have changed any settings so I am just wondering what kind of an issue I may be having. I talk to tech support and according to them their unit does not react that way and suggested possibly repair. I did a hard reset in that did not affect the situation. Any thoughts? Thanks
