Driverack PA2 AFS Wizard query

Hi all,

Jus a basic question... Should I mute my Foldback system or keep it live when running the AFS Wizard on my FOH system?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Anything live on the PA that you want to have AFS on, leave on. the idea is ringing out the system is supposed to be done via the loudspeakers, you are forcing the system to feedback by maxing out your main mixer output. this way the AFS can train which frequencies are causing the feedback and apply the filter. So if your Foldback system does not factor in that equation then no need, but if it is part of the live PA, then leave it on. Basically you're doing a rough sound check meaning you want everything on, that would be on, during a performance.

The only thing you want bypassed/off is noise gates on your microphone channels really.
