Recover dbx

Back in the 80s I used a Zesta Fire MR-10PRO to record a bunch of 4-track masters with dbx on. Before I mixed a bunch of these down the dbx button stopped working. A decade or so ago I mixed the tracks to a stereo master without dbx. Obviously, they are challenged. Is there a way/tool to recover the original dbx on sound from these stereo mixes? I do not have the MR-10PRO anymore…

    Oh yeah. The stereo masters are digital now. I doubt I have a working cassette deck.

    I'm not even sure what dbx product you are referring to, can you be more specific?
