can't get system unlocked... don't remember locking it.

I have a DriveRack 260 and I'm trying to implement some of the recommendations from this forum. Unfortunately, every time I try and get into configure, it tells me it's LOCKED.
I've followed the manual to unlock it while holding the RTA button. But that's not doing it. I rotate the wheel to where it says, \"System Unlocked\". Do I now restart it again, push a button, what do I do??

Well, typically you have to lock it yourself.. did you?
If you did it would have asked you to enter a password.. there are many levels of encryption on the 260. If you bought one that's locked you will need to do a HARD RESET and you will loose anything that is in the 260.. hopefully you have backed up the presets on your computer (exported) them so you can then (import) them back in...

I think it happened when I was trying to use it with the GUI and the USB to Serial adapter was not compatible. Yesterday, I went over to Radio Shack to get the one recommended. It worked!!
