Wireless software control of my 260

I am dedicated driverack 260 owner. I have been using my 260 for 5 years now and I still have had no success controlling my 260 wirelessly from my laptop. I bought the free 2 move serial bluetooth connector and I can't get it to work. I have a new laptop running vista. But i have 2 other machines running xp that I could use if vista is the problem. I am kinda clueless in the computer networking world and I could use some help. If anyone has a surefire solution to do this ...pleae help...I will be most grateful.
