So does anyone has that updater software? file was something like this - RP21v110.zip or this Wrp21v110.zip
If you do, I would much appreciate if you can send it to me.
Thank you so much in advance!

I have great news! I have found a guy on facebook (Thanks Brad) who said he has the software.
So he sent the update software for RP21D and RPEdit 2.2 all in one package! And it works!
I have packed this and manual in one zip file and I posting it here if anyone ever needs it!

Here is the link - http://www.mediafire.com/file/fp90xq0qcla5lm3/Digitech_RP21D_software_and_manual.zip/file

    Cheers!

  • Thanks again for finding this!

Yeah, I need the hard reset for the Digitech RP-21d.
The updater did something wrong and I can't get the unit to do anything
past the "waiting for Data" after starting the updater.exe

    Factory reset from the manual.

    **Factory Reset **
This function resets the RP21D to its original factory settings. This procedure will erase all custom user Programs, Defaults and Utility settings.
ATTENTION: This procedure will erase all user settings in the RP21D. Be sure you want to erase the memory and start fresh before continuing with this procedure.

To perform a Factory Reset, do the following:

    1. Press the Utility button once. Use the Next or Previous Page buttons until you reach page13 of the utility menu. The Display reads:
      Factory Reset?

    2. To initiate the Reset, press the number one button "1 - Yes"

    3. This is your last chance to change your mind. If you want to abort the Reset procedure, press the number four button. If you are sure that you want to reset all user settings, press the number three button "3 - Yes". The display will briefly show “Resetting...” and take you to the Pedal Calibration menu. See the following Utility menu for Pedal Calibration instructions.

Power up holding #1, let go, then press program.

I have done all these to no response from the RP-21D at all.
When I got the unit? I did the normal Utility button reset.
    Everything went good then.

Going to try a new battery and all these again.

Thanks You Guys so much for trying.

    Waiting on a RP-20 as a backup / replacement.
Not sure if a RP-20 can send data to a RP-21D?

I have a Digitech repair shop 40 miles from me?
But due to the Stay at home orders?
he is not in the office.

I will some how find some detailed MIDI information
on the RP-21D and see if I can do something there too.
So far I can't find any MIDI information on the RP-21D.
So far the only MIDI data is from 1995 or 1997?
Still learning to read and send midi system exclusive messages,
I know how to send them?
But lack the right commands the RP-21D will respond to.
