Output problems from computer to MTK12

Hello!

My MTK has up til today worked quite well as the preferred audio input and output for my MAC. I'm usingMojave 10.14.5 by the way.

But today, out of nowhere, I cant get sound from my MAC to the MTK 12 though it is the preferred audio output. I have tried almost everything - restarted both the MTK and the computer, configured the speakers to be set at 11 (l) and 12 (R), changed USB output on the computer, and so on.

Have anyone here experienced something similar and fixed it, please help me cause I'm kinda stuck!
