PLEASE READ ME FIRST: HARMAN Professional Technical Support

While this forum is a great place for our community to get together, support each other, and talk all things HARMAN... keep in mind this should not be considered a substitute for our live Tech Support. Tech Support engineers may or may not be on the forum helping our users, but the only direct path to proper Tech Support is to call us.

If you're having an issue with a product, feel free to call our HARMAN Pro Tech Support at +1 (844) 776-4899 or on the web at https://pro.harman.com/service . There is a form submission on the website, but I would recommend calling for the quickest service.

This contact number will work for US as well as International, though some regions outside of North America get support directly from the HARMAN distributor in that region. Feel free to check with your distributor on the best method to get your product supported. You are still welcome to call the number above; our Tech Support coordinators can help get you connected to the right person/group regardless.

Each of our Pro brands also has their own dedicated Support pages/resources on their respective websites:

I need to find a tablet that actually works with the eon compact software....I have currently tried 4...all of them get stuck in a loop which tells me the device is not optimized....it works with my phone, which is a Samsung....however I do NOT want to use my phone, I need a dedicated tablet...I even bought a Samsung tablet, same damn issue...so what I need, is for someone to tell me what exact tablet they are using that works.

i think the tech support number should be included at the top of the forum main page. right under the ad blurb.

    something like:
“Playback the last 60-plus years of music and motion picture … conference centers, educational facilities and more.
if you have tech support questions, please call (844) beep-boop-beep.”

just to make it super easy to find. 🙂

Is it in anyway possible to buy the BRX 300 system in the USA? If not, is there anything that is a turnkey bundle that is similar?

A brilliant idea! Placing the Tech Support number at the top of the forum's main page ensures easy access for users seeking assistance. User-friendly and efficient.👍

G'day everyone. I am not only new to this forum but new to PA systems let alone active systems. I am a drummer of some 50 years so this might explain why I need help. 🤣
After getting online and you tubing how to connect my eon 615's and eon 718s to my little Mackie dbx 6 channel mixer I proceeded using xlr microphone balanced cables as recommended by the audio store. Using the subs cross over i connected from mixer to the sub and out to the 615's. Please remember I have never in 50 years taken any notice of pa systems but I obviously should have.
With all volumes down I nervously powerd up everything and the sub even at no volume had a faint hum.
First question is, is that normal? I was too scared to turn the volume up let alone speak into the mic .
Second question is does anyone have any diagrams I can easily follow regards ways of connecting all this together correctly.
The you tube video used some terms regards what is written in the assigned xlr connections Not found back of my sub, pass thru on my sub was not mentioned as such in the video so I was left to guess.
Also before hooking up the sub, front 615's to the mixer I plugged a dynamic mic direct to one 615 and turned it up to half and not a lot of volume I then turned it all the way up and though it is noisless again not much volume.
The sub is new and the 615's I purchased used but as new condition.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Harman International Industries, Inc., commonly known as Harman, is an American audio electronics company. Since 2017, the company has been operating as Harman Kardon acquired other audio companies such as JBL. In the 1970s, Harman accepted an appointment in the Carter administration as United States Deputy Secretary of Commerce and sold his company to conglomerate Beatrice Foods to avoid a conflict of interest. Beatrice sold many portions of the company, including the original Harman Kardon division.

I'm looking for a tablet that works seamlessly with EON Compact software. I've tried four different tablets, but they all get stuck in a loop indicating the device is not optimized. The software works on my Samsung phone, but I need a dedicated tablet. Even a Samsung tablet had the same issue. Can someone recommend a specific tablet that they know works with EON Compact?
