JBL LCT81c/t Wire Gauge

Surprised to see that the LCT81c/t have pre-wired 20awg. Will using 12 or 14awg to connect all 6 speakers work without issues or is it recommended to use 20awg throughout? This is for a 70v distributed setup in a conference room. JBL VMA 1160 is the amp.
