JBL Eon One Compact - headphone output/ streaming signal chain, cables & setting

Hi just bought a JBL EON ONE Compact and I am very pleased with it so far. Would welcome advice however on two issues. First, clarity of headphone signal out. Seems rather muddy compared to the actual mix? Thoughts and suggestions? Second, for the last year I have been streaming via an independent mixer via headphone out to iRIG - iPad - Facebook live. Is it possible to replicate this using primarily the the JBL Compact? I have tried but found signal very weak. Id be grateful if someone could please advise on signal chain, cables and settings.
