Pro Connect 5.0.9 is not functional on my iPhone 12

I am running app version 0.0.6 and firmware version 5.09. My phone connects but the software is basically unusable.
I can't select an individual channel, None of the effects sliders work at all and I can't change the EQ preset on any channel.
My iPhone is running the latest iOS build.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Update:
After upgrading the firmware, it was necessary to delete the app from my phone and re-install it.
It is now working, but the interface is clunky and slow to respond.
Now my fear is that if I get the channel settings just the way I want them and save it as a scheme, the next firmware update or app update may wipe out all I've done. I'm keeping careful notes just in case.
