JBL PRX One connecting

Hey. I have two JBL PRX One units and I would like to connect them together. When I put a cable to pass thru and put it to channel 1 on second unit it makes noise from unit 2 when I get the same volume as the primary unit. Is there something wrong I have done?

    two sets need to be connected with the right and left seats from a separate mixing console. and adjust on this remote, only then will it be stereo. inputs from the console can be inserted into 3 or 4 channels. if you just want to connect a second speaker from one speaker, then you need to connect with one cable.Out of the exit one set, to the entrance to the second in the same 3 or 4 channels

    Hmm, that static noise from the second unit definitely isn't right. Let's troubleshoot the connection between your two JBL PRX Ones. Here are a couple of things to check:

    1. Cable Issues:

    • First, double-check your cable. Make sure it's a high-quality XLR cable (male to female) and that the connections are secure at both ends. A faulty or low-quality cable can definitely cause noise.

      2. Gain Levels:

    • Even though you're aiming for the same volume, ensure the gain levels on both units are set properly. A mismatch can introduce unwanted noise.

    • On the first unit (primary), make sure the gain knob for the channel you're using (feeding the signal out) isn't maxed out.

    • On the second unit, adjust the gain knob for channel 1 (receiving the signal) to a comfortable level without clipping.

      3. Channel Selection:

    • Double-check that you're actually feeding the signal into channel 1 on the second unit. A misplaced cable could be routing the signal to an unexpected channel.

      4. Try a Different Input:

    • If the noise persists, try connecting the two units using a different input on the second unit (e.g., channel 2 or 3) to see if the issue is specific to channel 1.
