Eon one compact loss of bass over bluetooth

I have recently purchased an eon one compact and I am having issues with it randomly turning into a tin can using Bluetooth. I have tried it with multiple device, iPad and android phone and it does it on both. I have tried all the settings in the Jbl app turning on and off eq on the channel and main but it doesn’t’t seem to matter. Any suggestions?
