Latency in RCA to AUX connectivity to Boobox 3

When connecting RCA to AUX to JBL Boombox 3, there is a latency about 1 second.
I connected Pioneer Controller DDJ 400 to it and was able to identify the delay between whatever was shown in REKORDBOX and the actual sound. There is no such problem when connecting the same DDJ 400 to the same laptop and same REKORDBOX with the same cable but to JBL Flip 4. Why would JBL Boombox 3 add such delay in producing the sound? Thanks.
