compression driver / tweeter 2412h - how does it come out?

I have a jbl eon 10 g2 powered speaker and I'm trying to remove the tweeter - a 2421H compression driver. having looked at youtube videos I'm getting the impression they unscrew from the horn barrel but the one I have will not budge. is there a knack to this? something I'm missing? when trying to turn the magnet body I can feel a tiny movement backwards and forwards but thats it. I dont know what I'm doing wrong and I dont want to damage the horn or the tweeter,
I've attached a couple of pictures - one showing the driver and the other showing where the driver meets the horn barrel. thanks for any pointers.
