Question about best way to configure Eon 610's with a pair of subs

I picked up a pair of EV ZXA1-SUB 12 inch powered subs . They have a cross over so I'm sending the mixer output to the sub and then passing on the signal to the Eon 610. I'm guessing if I do it this way I should turn the EQ off on the Eon 610 and let it run full range. I'm interested in any tips on "eq'ing" these with a sub if that's recommended. I've never downloaded the EQ app as so far I've only used these as mains by themselves for small venues.
