time lag between speakers

I hooked up a system featuring stereo mixer, ultimate partybox as left main; and a 15" powered cab as the right main. My left main output went from "control room" 1/4" outputs. My right speaker went out of the main right/XLR output. They both worked, but the two cabinets were slightly out of sync with each other. (time lag?) Any thoughts as to why? and the way to actually do this right?;~) I'm an old analog dog. I appreciate your thoughts.

It sounds like the sync issue between your Ultimate Partybox and the 15" powered cab could be due to the different types of connections used (1/4" TRS vs. XLR) or inherent latency in the powered cab. To address this, try connecting both speakers using the same type of output (preferably XLR) if possible, as this can help minimize latency discrepancies. For a more seamless audio experience, you might also consider a digital mixer with latency compensation features.
