URGENT! SECOND SET OF EON 712s NO SOUND FROM INPUTS!
Please. I'm pretty much at the end of my rope on this and hoping the community can help me with this. I bought a pair of EON 712. Set everything up according to the instructions. Updated the latest firmware and paired my speakers. The Bluetooth channel worked and the speakers sounded great, but when I tested the inputs on the back, I got nothing. Plugged in a known to work Shure SM58. Turned up the gain, turned up the master column, turned up the channel gain from the settings. Nothing. Checked and made sure it wasn't muted. Nothings muted. Tested with an acoustic electric direct in. nothing. However, I do see the signal indicator reacting, going green to yellow at times.
So frustrated and have a wedding coming up that I need to use these for. I returned the speakers and ordered the same set from a different store on Amazon. Received them in the mail today. Opened one box, went to directly testing the inputs before doing anything else....SAME PROBLEM! I could pull my hair out. Is this a known issue with these units? Has anyone else had similar issues with these EONs? Does anyone have any idea if I'm doing something wrong?? Called JBL the first time and they were no help. Wanted me to pay $ to send it to them. I bought JBL thinking it was quality and I wouldn't be dealing with bs issues.... but here we are. PLEASE HELP, anyone..
