  • Hi, same problem Just bought Eon one compact because the app provides effects and EQ presets etc. Nothing works! Tried on 2 different iphones and ipad all running current ios. Wish I hadn't bought the JBL it might have to go back.
PS tried factory resets, deleted and reinstalled app multiple times, firmware say up to date. Tried everything - same result everytime.

Hey JBL/Harman. This isn’t good enough!! The app is part of the promise you made when promoting your product. Fix it!

  • Adjusting sliders on the JBL Compact Connect App involves using the app's interface to control various audio settings for your JBL speaker. This can include adjusting the volume, bass, treble, or sound presets to customize your listening experience. By moving the sliders on the app, users can fine-tune the audio output to match their preferences, enhancing the overall sound quality of their JBL speaker.

Another new user here. My app on Android has the volume on -81 and won't move. I know it's connected to the speaker because when I press the MIC/LINE button on the speaker, that change is shown on the app.

Again, I've tried all the advice - factory reset, clear cache etc.

Without the app working, it very hard to guess what volume you're actually at. The speak just shows this vague change in brightness of the green light around the control knob.

Aha, I've just found this note that the JBL Pro Connect app works with the compact. https://www.soundtech.co.uk/professional-audio/jbl/news/eon-one-compact-now-compatible-jbl-pro-connect-app

It does indeed work. Not quite as intuitive as the compact connect app but hey it works.
I think this counts as a workaround more than a fix as all the other pages are still leading people to the Compact Connect app.
