EON208P SLIDE BUTTON defect?

I have an EON208P with a continuing slide button to connect the speaker to the BACK of the mixing board ~ it is completely broken and will let disengage my second speaker I have tried a screwdriver to release the second speaker but no luck ~ I cannot use this system anymore
