Can’t connect to EON One MK2 through JBL Pro Connect

Can someone please help me I recently purchased a EON One MK2 speaker. When I originally downloaded the app I could connect at the start I was prompted to download a firmware update and when I did could not connect to the speaker via the app. Have reset numerous times, forgotten on Bluetooth devices. I’m using an iPhone 13 Pro the frustrating part is I can connect via normal Bluetooth I just can’t through the app. I wanted it so I can eq input channels via the app it always comes up with this error “secure connection failed” then prompts me to setting and click BT control. Has anyone else come across this issue and if so were you able to fix it?
