  I did a firmware update on my 3 EON712s today and they all make this noise now.

  I also got the same issue on both my EON712 and EON715 after the latest update 6.2.1.0. This sound is really annoying!! Please JBL - can you fix this issue asap - please!

  I just updated to firmware 6.2.4.0 and noise is gone. I almost sent them back to Sweetwater. I'm glad I waited and saved the shipping costs. Thanks for listening and fixing, JBL.
