I have just taken over a system set up by another vendor some time ago. It has 2units of DriveRack 4820 connected to a private network for control by Audio Architect. I have connected each one to the network and checked using Netsetter individually and they have different IP addresses and device IDs. . However when I plug BOTH to the network at the same time, I realised that they would randomly go online and offline making control very difficult. If I plug just one unit into the network (either unit) they can be controlled just fine.
I did some network level debugging and realised that BOTH units have the same network MAC address set at the factory (00-0f-d7-00-79-f9) and hence the network switches are flapping. I did some more reading and it seems that the MAC address cannot be changed.
I also saw that the unit has 2 Ethernet Ports each and hoping that the MAC was different for the 2 ports, I tried connecting the first unit via the top port and second unit via the bottom port. Same results. Did an ARP -A on my PC and saw the same MAC address popup for both.
Is it really true that 2 units cannot sit on one network concurrently? This does not make sense. Is there a way to change the MAC Address? Or am I connecting things up wrongly?
Much appreciated any assistance. Going crazy at this point and the system is due to be commissioned shortly.
HELP! I've been using our Soundcraft Expressions SI 3 for over 5 years at my church and just recently started having this problem. We use the board twice a week, recalling a 'baseline' setting each week with starts with a fresh setup. Every two or three weeks the board controls will completely freeze up. There's no error message or warning. The sound passes through fine so unless you're trying to adjust something you won't even notice. We use Visi Remote and network connection to that and Visi Listen are both dropped when this happens. There doesn't seem to be any actions that trigger the freeze, often we're mixing with an iPad when it happens. I have left the board on for extended periods of times twice (about 5 days) and it doesn't freeze during these period so it seems like it is related to usage somehow. Ventilation is good, no sign of excessive heat.
Last week I updated to the latest firmware (build 12) and reformatted the card in the mean time. About three years ago I was having an issue that caused me to open the board and replace the SD memory card.
Today it froze up again and I noticed that when it did I was still able to use the screen to save the show settings but not completely. I wouldn't accept the 'Apply' button so I couldn't actually save. I don't want to replace this board, it works so well for our installation but I can't put up with this much longer.
Hello, I'm owner of LXP Native Reverb Bundle since 2017, using it with MAC Mojave and then upgraded to Mac Catilina since 2020 January. All worked fine until last week, when Pro Tools (2019.15) didn't accept the plug-ins no more as they stopped to work on my sessions. I wrote many times to Lexicon Assistance in order to have some reasonable answer to my issue. Could me please help me in this way and please let me know wether there are some upcoming updates to a 64 bit version of my plug-in? Thanks a lot.
More could You tell me if the PCM Native Reverb Plug-in Bundle works fine with Catilina on 64 bit. Could I have a copy of it with some discount, not being able to use the LXP Native reverb? Thanks a lot. Regards. Beppe.
I just bought soundcraft Ui24R and tryout, it went ok until I test to record on USB multitrack, the format of the USB stick is ExFAT, I could record and playback fine only problem is , when I remove the stick and put on the computer both PC and Mac I couldn't find the files .WAV, the stick just blank, only some MB were lost. I just record with one mic on track 3.
