SI Impact Firmware update 2.0 v12 to 2.1 v6 latest fail

Hello all,

I have the problem described in the title. Tried many times the procedure (also with 2.1 v5 firmware) fail in the state uploading the new firmware… The procedure begin, but after 1% the bar and touchscreen freezes and dont goes on forward. (Waited hours for that) The new FW is on FAT32 usb in the usb2 slot, the boot loader recogize…
Any older fw version bethween the 2.0 v12 and 2.1 v5 is inaccessible.

What make i wrong, any rtfm video, manual are welcomed!

    If you copied the fw files with using MacOS, it might has some illegal files what began the name as dot something.
    Those are used only for MacOS. Other system could wrong action.
    I always use "USBclean.app" to clean those files when I unmount USB pendrive from my Mac.

    Otherwise, have you tried this?

    Hello,

    The USB drive was formatted on Win machine. (1GB size)
    Formatted also the SD card in Impact, after tried to flash for version 2.1.5
    Same issue, after one minute at the end of the progress bar "Check file:" a red "!" mark come up.

    After 30 minutes no progress made :(

    ps.: tried all the filesystems Win10 know... FAT and FAT32 recognized, NTFS exFAT not...
    All the recognized ways goes to red "!" after 1 minutes loading impact.bin

    Did you format the stick as MBR of FAT32?
    Master boot record.

    Hello,

    Succerssfully upgraded the firmware to 2.1.6 version. The problem was that tha usb stick size matters and the succerssfull upgrade has done with a smaller size (4GB) usb stick.
