MXA-MP/MPL use?

I have 3 MXA-MPL's and am just sending a single feed in and trying to get a single stream out.

Problem is there is a lack of documentation as to how to configure them; there is a module for an example for use with the enova switcher and 10 sources to cycle through, but I only need one.

Can anyone shed some light on how to get these up and running quickly. I have them connected properly to the best of my knowledge and the mxt-1000's see them but all say not streaming; also firmware is up to date.

Turns out, all 3 of my will not update their firmware and are heading back to AMX... Not sure if it was just the firmware I was coming from .. 1.1.82

Simple case like that working with no problem. But I have no idea how make a preview more than one picture? Can you help with it?
