Crown xti 4000 saying "Short 1"

My xti 4000 powers up, the display looks weird, then short 1 comes up then the amp powers down on its own. Help please

    Do you have speakers loaded to the amp when this event happens?
    If positive, this may means that the amp is 'seeing' a short circuit value of your speaker network. Remove all speaker wiring from the output connector; Did the failure disappear? Then, you have a speaker or connection issue. Else,
    If negative, then you may have a possible output failure. See your friendly neighborhood Crown repair center! ;)
