¿What connector is the aux connector to sleep an ampifier?

What is the type of connector,
I think that if I short-circuit pin1 and pin2 this will go to sleep mode, I guess this can be done with any remote home swich like the one you use to remote switch bulbs.
I need to know the connector name.
