USBX vs Generic USB Server

Hello forum.
As you may know the USBX is currently discontinued, nevertheless, I saw a similar solution on Dynacord where you can control up to 8 amplifiers with one generic USB-Server and USB-Hub. Could this be done for CDi Amplifiers?
