Hi,
I have a Crown XLi800 that I'm going to use in a home stereo setup; I will be powering Polk Series 7 monitor speakers. I will use RCA jacks for inputs.
Which input sensitivity should I set the amp to? .755V or 1.4V?
Please advise.
Thanks
David

RCA connectors are used with low level unbalanced signals, for example, hi-fi systems, instrument equipment, etc. In this instance, I assume a hi-fi 'preamp'. So I would set sensitivity @ input level of .775V.
Usually, @ 1.4V would be selected for high level balanced signals, i.e. analog console output, pro audio equipment, et al.)
