I have a XTi 4000 Crown Amp 1 channel out

I have only used this amp 3 times, it seems it's way to complicated for me ! I took it to Guitar Center where I bought it many years ago to sell, they checked it out and said one channel was not working. My guess is it was too complicated for them too. I feel I need to upgrade the software but I'm not really sure where and how to do that. Can someone help me or just point me in the right direction ?
