XTI 1000 2010 asking for new firmware

I have an XTI purchased brand new in the 2010, its stock firmware is version 1.1.56.....so do I have to update it? I don't find the file don't know the link .....in case.. do I really need the CEquel_File app for windows to load new FW or Hqnet or System architet? don't know the link for download ....any help?

    if you connect via Audio Architect (USB cable) the latest firmware is part of Audio Architect and it will prompt you to update it from there.

    Is BandManger still available? You could do updates through BM at one time...

    HiQNet Bandmanager exists, but seems to be for the 1002 series :(
