Crown amp cdi-1000 pops when switched off.

    Having the same problem with my old 460CSL - very loud Pop! I always perform "Last on, first off."

    CDI is totally different from a CSL. However same symptom.
    Check for leaky caps in regulator section;
    Check also for faulty caps (through hole or sm) in the SMPS and Soft Start section.
    Have had issues with the power switch on occasion.
    Do the analog power rails discharge evenly?
    Check for issues with failing solder connections, as the relay issue for the DSI thread.
