Crown D150 operation question

Any D 150 owners out there?

I am confused, it looks to have 2 mic style input jacks, and 2 output speaker terminals.

A mic cable is typically L and R channel combined. Does this amp need some special or modified kind of interconnect?

Thanks!

A mic cable is essentially called a balanced cable. However, a balanced cable could act like a stereo pair.
The D150, usually comes with an unbalanced 1/4" jack, configured with a signal shorting pin when the plug connection is removed. The XLR jack could have been added as a mod, to improve noise reduction. A balanced input circuit , using a transformer coupled input circuitry hardware may have been added.
Also, the XLR could have been used in an unbalanced configuration. No additional cumbersome circuitry is needed. The neg. connection is not used and signal appears on the pos. connection, as a parallel connection to the unbalanced input. Hope this makes sense!
