The right Amp for my PA system

Hi All, back in my younger days I purchased 2x JBL SRX715's and 2x. SRX718 Subs. Now the kids have grown up, I want to dust off the JBL's, have a mid life crisis and start a new band. The specs on the speakers say in passive mode they are rated at 800W continuous/1600 program/3200w peak. All of that unfortunately doesn't mean diddly shyte to me 
Anyhow I would love to know what amps would be a good match. I guess they would be used in stereo mode but I'm really not too sure of that either?? Any help would be really helpful
