1400 csl power issue

The amp powers up and runs fine for sometimes 10mins sometimes 8hrs then the audio fades away to nothing in the space of seconds and the power light on the front panel dims to half brightness, and stays that way until I turn it off and back on again.. any ideas?? It looks like a macrotech on the inside.. thanks in advance!!
