Crown Xti 2002 clip light coming on after -20

Hello all , does anyone have an idea what's going on with my Xti 2002.
My high rig consists of 2 2002. After a show i now find that the 2 amps which are working in stereo start clipping just after -20db with load.
The amp meters will show the the following when passing a none clipping signal per channel and the amps are all set before around 70% when i did my gain structure
Thermal - off
Clip - flashing red
-10 - off
-20 - green
Signal - green
Ready - green

Mine is doing the same but only the right channel. When I send the same input signal to both channels and both volume knobs are turned completely down, I hear more signal bleed coming through the faulty channel to the speaker... I can only assume its a component failure that is quite difficult to find and fix...
