Alpha distortion when recording

Whenever i try to record using a DAW, in the monitors and on playback theres a horrible pitched down, warbley sound. However it works fine when using guitar rig, is there a solution for this?

    Check the Frequency and Bit Rate of the DAW versus what is in the Sound Properties for the Alpha on Windows or Mac (Audio/Midi Setup)

    Usually playback issues are mismatch of the Frequency and Bit Rate settings in the DAW
