Lexicon Lambda power supply

Hello,
I own a Lexicon Lambda and it works very well!
Anyway, I would like to use it through a powered USB hub, so that it could be always on, even if my computer is not turned on and I could use the direct monitoring feature without always passing through the computer.
Do you know if it is possible?

    I am pretty sure the PC driver is required to run the Lambda at all and people have tried to use it for direct monitoring with an external power source and it has not worked from my recollections. The Lexicon Omega however was able to do this because it is powered by an 9VAC Adapter.

    Not saying it will not work - you can try it, but I am not certain if it will
