Pedals on inserts

Hi there. Im conecting a balanced instrument (acoustic soundhole passive pickup) on Mic1 and I'm trying to use the insert for basic guitar pedals such as reverb (analog true bypass). The result is very good, just wondering if this is a good practice since the manual says the insert is for line level signal and pedals dont give line level signals. Thanks

    Im Sorry I didnt say I was talking about de Omega interface. I wonder if it is posible to connect guitar pedals to Insert Points of MIC imputs, or if its is correct or incorrect since the results are very good for basic effects like reverb and EQ
