Three Months Later...

...since the last topic was closed down regarding Apple Silicon support, I figured I'd risk it and ask. I don't think every 90 day is too frequent. Is there any news on this front? Thanks!

You're tenacious I'll give you that. Since I'm no longer a Harman employee I wish I could share more but due to an agreement, I'll say nothing still - but good news soon.

Refer to my farewell post here - https://proforums.harman.com/lexicon/discussion/139570/mac-os-lexicon-plugins-updates-news-going-forward#latest

No amount of your checking in will make it go quicker though my dude, that much is obvious! :D

I am laughing at the irony that my finally leaving Harman now they actually got a real plan to fix the plugins though. In the few years though, I will say that they had 1 developer working on these plugins - just 1 yes (someone else already here figured out), and they were in over their head obviously. The team handling it now is capable and will do a good job I am sure.

In the meantime, hurry up and wait some more!

Haha... well I wish you all the best in your new endeavors! I didn't see the post. I thought once every THREE MONTHS wasn't too much. And it may not make it go quicker, but it makes me feel better!!! LOL. The number of developers actually doesn't come as a shock to me. I can't talk about it publicly, but I know of more than one company, especially in other areas like... oh... tax software as an example... where they sell FAR MORE of the Windows product than the Mac product and thus it was a very small team maintaining it... like VERY small!!

Anyways... hope things are going well with you, bro! :)

Just read your post! Thanks.... I always felt bad for you. You were put between a rock and a hard place. As far as recent acquisitions helping move things along... I hope things are truly no longer in a "state of Flux." ;) Onward and upward!

I miss you already, EElde :(

I think this farce is going to take some patience to end, we all pay for these plugins here and this is the only one I have that still doesn't support Apple Silicon. I know EElde has been working for here but it's obvious they are wasting EElde's efforts and I do hope EElde has a better outlook in the future. It doesn't surprise me that only one developer works for this, every company has their own decisions to make. But to be honest, we also have to admit that such a plan is ridiculous, we are not asking Lexicon to fix any new features for us here, we just want Lexicon to provide us with compatibility in a timely manner.

We respect everyone who works hard here, and at the same time we're Harman consumers who actually pay these fees here, so we should get the support we deserve, and maybe it's time for us to band together and find some new ways to do things around here.

Looks like the manuals and cut sheet got a July 2024 update, fingers crossed that's the preliminary work for the updates to be launched.
