HARMAN, what's going on?

Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is absolutely incomprehensible to me how a manufacturer of great software can act in this way with its customers. We have been waiting for years for an urgently needed update of your plug-ins, but nothing happens. The communication from you is really bad and almost contemptuous. I think I speak on behalf of all customers.
I expect a prompt response from you, I can deal with it if you discontinue the product, but please be clear and finally shed some light on the situation.
I would very much like to work with the plug-ins, because the sound is excellent.
Kind regards
Georg Hahn

I'm assuming HARMAN owns several brands, Lexicon being just one of them. It's pretty sad watching a name brand like Lexicon that was once uttered with reverence and respect in the audio community seemingly become irrelevant and the butt of jokes. Do a search at Sweetwater, for example, on Lexicon. One piece of hardware appears, PCM 96, with a photo... two high end pieces with no photo. Not even sure who the customer is for one of them, and then they're still selling the plug-in bundles even though they don't have native Apple Silicon support and will require you to run your DAW in Rosetta UNLESS you have a DAW that supports Audio Units.
The previous company--facing rep on this forum was a good guy and I felt for him as a lot of end users took their frustrations out on him.... probably because they felt so frustrated and powerless. There's nobody else to speak to. He did let it slip that they had ONE developer working on porting those plugs to Apple Silicon and implied that this person was in over their head. From what I understand, they did acquire Flux and have access to their programmers so there may be hope that some better people are on the job. Before he moved on, the rep here had told us that there WILL be an update at some point and it is ongoing. I believe that he believed this. He was kind of being kept in the dark like the rest of us.
Anyway... I guess I'm fortunate that I'm mostly using DP right now, so AU will run using Rosetta on a plug-in by plug-in basis, but If I were using Pro Tools or Cubase I'd be upset. You can still us them without running your DAW in Rosetta, but you have to use something like Blue Cat PatchWork as a "shell" to open the AU.
All in all it's sad. As I started out saying, the Lexicon name used to stand something and be revered. The damage that Harmon has done to that brand is tragic.
