Controlling MX300 via midi

I have a Lexicon MX300 and wish to turn the effect bypass button on and off via a midi message from my sequencer. I can change programs ok via midi messages but can’t fathom out how to turn the bypass on/off !
Can anyone help me please ?

Sorry for the long delay! Check out the MX300 Manual, page 45 and 46 have the Bypass information for the effects.

Just so you know the context of usage, I have the output of each MX400 processor associate kiosk being sent to the AUX channels of the PAs mixer, so that the mixer's channels can mix in one or the other's processor's signal.
