Setting the volume for individual sources on an RV-9

I cannot find any information about this in searches.
On my RV-9 I can set the default volume, and I can adjust it manually. When I switch to a different source it retains this level, which is not useful.
My TV requires about 10-12dB more volume than my music centre or CD player. If I forget after switching, I get a blast at high volume.
Surely this is a common problem. Most systems need different volumes for different sources. It should not be difficult to add to the firmware.
