Connecting an external EQ to the EFX12?

How can I connect an external Peavey Q215 EQ to the EFX12?
I've tried sereral configuations with no success!
I use Active Speakers and active monitors..

There are a couple ways to do this. You could come out of the EFX12 main outs into the inputs of the Peavey, you will need XLR to 1/4 cables to do this. Make sure to keep the signal balanced. Then come out of the peavey into your active speakers, again with 1/4 to XLR cables. Another way is to get insert cables and use the insert jacks on the LR outputs. Then connect your active speakers as normal.
