Bounce/export/upload tune

I want to send a completed project out of Logic Pro from my Signature 12 multitrack. The DAW acts like it is building the mp3 when I bounce the project but then the mp3 found in the bounce file is empty or maybe described better as just dead space. It shows and plays the length of the song but no sound. I’ve recorded from other DAWs with other interfaces before. What did I miss with the signature 12? I can play from all other locations from computer (iTunes,SoundCloud, operation sounds) through channel 1-2 but no songs from Logic Pro with signature 12 multitrack. Please help!
