Replacing fader on soundcraft Vi1

Hello,

the venue I work for has a non-responding fader. I tried recalibrating faders but to no avail. The replacement is cheap (about £40) Is it possible to replace it in-house without a service engineer? Is it a similar process to the SSL? I can't find any information on the Harman website and the Harman contact I emailed only said it's an easy task. The desk is second hand so we have no warranty involved.
