Signature 12MTK USB Interface only Input or Output

Hi, with the newest Windows 10 release, my Signature 12 MTKs interface is up to really questionable behavior. When starting the computer, depending on which side of the interface gets used first (input or output), the interface then locks up the otherside, leading the mixer to be nigh unusable for the purpose which I have for it, requiring a mix down from usb returns and then pushing the mix back to the computer as a single stereo audio device. Any idea what might be causing this?
