Ui16 Problem that I can't explain.

I have a well behaved Ui16 .... until now! Mid rehearsal,without any physical adjustment, it began to distort and all meter levels fluctuate drastically.
It continues to do the same without any input.
Is this familiar to anyone?
Does anyone have a solution?

@cheryl and/or @mauriciofsb have either of you contacted HARMAN Pro Tech Support? That would be your best bet at solving the issue.

Yes. They say they’ve never heard of the problem which I find hard to believe. It’s out of warranty, just weighing up if it’s worth sending for repair.
