Using FX Out as AUX 2

I have a Soundcraft EFX12 mixer and I want to use the FX Bus Output connection as a second Aux Out. In the manual it states that the FX Bus Output jack "...could be used as a second Aux Output if desired, if the FX Processor is not needed at the time". However, the FX Processor does not have an Off or Bypass button. How do I effectively turn the FX Procesoor off in this scenario?
