in Soundcraft Mixing Consoles

recently purchased a note 5 mixer. cant get the software to install on my laptop so that the laptop recognizes the note 5. get a message about permissions not being correct. my guess is the version of windows on my laptop ( less than a year old) is not compatible with the version of windows that the downloadable software for the mixer??? anyone have a step by step breakdown to correct this?? any help would be greatly appreciated:) Thanks to anyone taking the time to read this even if you dont have a suggestion and i hope you all have a great day!
